The Telegraph wanted to launch a standalone app for the puzzles section on the site to compete with the likes of the Guardian and NYT, who have a similar structure of having a main app and a separate one for games. The brief was to create a user journey for the onboarding part but later developed into an end-to-end process of onboarding through to purchasing a subscription and creating a whole experience.
